I'm Sam Gilsaver from Castle Rock, Colorado. I have been with Doug Andrus for more than two years, and one of my favorite things is that people know you. Payroll, dispatch, and the shop know your name, or in my case, your nickname.

There is an open-door policy. If something comes up on the road, people work to help you get back on the road and back to making miles. I have been fascinated by trucks since I was a kid, and it feels good to work somewhere that cares about the driver behind the wheel.

When I go home, I can park the trailer nearby and take the truck home. That kind of practical support makes a difference.
